Macaw Noble basic information
The Noble Macaw grows to about 13 inches in length, with a seven to seven and a half inch wingspan. They have brilliant green plumage with blue foreheads and forecrowns. The underparts of the bird have a yellow hue, especially the flight feathers and the underside of the tail, which are olive yellow. The undersides of the wings, the wing bend, and the carpal edge are all an incredible red color. The Noble Macaw has the characteristic Macaw naked facial patch, with a dark orange colored iris. The legs are dark gray as is the lower mandible. The Noble Macaw has a horn-colored upper mandible that distinguishes it most particularly from Hahn's Macaw.
