Raven history

The Raven is a very interesting animal to research. It has roots in several different mythologies and is heavily steeped in Alaskan culture. In Norse myths, the god Odin had two ravens as his messengers, reporting to him the events of the day. Several Eskimo tribes in Alaska have the Raven as a central part of their creation myths, with many of them seeing the Raven as the creator of the Earth and the Sun.
